Trade Fair Opportunities

What is a business without profit? Most importantly, can a business exist and thrive without publicity and visibility? The answer is no. Recognizing the importance of market exposure and wider customer engagement, RippleAfrica Trust Foundation registered the Waste Conversion Team to participate at a trade fair in Abuja.

For two days, the beneficiaries exhibited their wares at the Inside Track Abuja Outdoor Bazaar and Pop-Up shop at HFIA Garden, Garki 3, Abuja. They joined 100 other exhibitors to create visibility and introduce their products to a new pool of clientele, demonstrate how waste materials are transformed into beautiful and useful items, and raise awareness about the economic and environmental value of recycling.

The bazaar attracted a wide range of varied audience, including expatriates and visitors who had an interest in uniquely created African products, and of course, the products of our beneficiaries took center stage in grasping their attention, and some of them did not leave without buying some bags. Other attendees stopped by, made enquiries, and purchased some items.

This exhibition achieved its objective of exposing the beneficiaries and their products to a wider audience. It also served as an avenue to demonstrate the remarkable skills women can develop through targeted empowerment initiatives while educating the people they came in contact with on the importance of recycling waste.
