On 4th October 2023, RippleAfrica Trust Foundation organized a dynamic and engaging “One-Day Girls Interactive Session,” also known as Girls Camp, in Nnewi, Anambra State. This session served as a preparatory event for the upcoming State of the Nigerian Girls Summit (SONGS), aiming to empower and inspire young girls from the region.
The interactive session brought together a diverse group of girls for a day filled with informative workshops, empowering discussions, and interactive activities designed to address key issues facing Nigerian girls. The camp focused on equipping participants with valuable life skills, fostering self-confidence, and discussing important topics such as personal development, leadership, and health.
Through a series of engaging sessions and group activities, the event provided a platform for the girls to voice their perspectives, share experiences, and gain insights from facilitators. The camp also served as a preparatory step towards the broader objectives of the SONGS summit, which aims to address the challenges and opportunities for Nigerian girls at a state level.
The One-Day Girls Interactive Session underscored RippleAfrica Trust Foundation’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of young girls and ensuring they are well-prepared to contribute positively to their communities and beyond.
