Pad-Up Awareness Campaign

RippleAfrica Trust Foundation proudly launched the “PAD-UP AWARENESS CAMPAIGN,” a seven-day initiative dedicated to educating the girl child about menstrual healthcare and hygiene while providing essential sanitary products. This impactful campaign took place across various schools and communities, including Government Day Secondary School Wuse, Government Science Technical College Garki, Junior Secondary School Jabi 1, Government Girls Science Secondary School Kuje, Guabe Community, and Kango Community.

Throughout the campaign, RippleAfrica Trust Foundation engaged with young girls and women, offering valuable information on menstrual flow and hygiene practices. Each participant received free sanitary pads to ensure they are well-equipped to manage their menstrual healthcare comfortably and confidently.

The campaign culminated in a comprehensive seminar that brought together participants to discuss critical issues surrounding menstrual hygiene. The seminar emphasized the importance of access to sanitary products and highlighted the broader need for continued education and support for women and girls.

By addressing menstrual healthcare challenges and providing practical support, the PAD-UP AWARENESS CAMPAIGN underscored RippleAfrica Trust Foundation’s commitment to improving the well-being and empowerment of young girls and women in our communities.
